Where is the power button located on an Apple iPhone 4S?

I know it sounds like a stupid question, but I just bought a used on on Ebay, and I've never owned one before.

There are a pair of buttons one one side for the volume controls, a single button on the top or side which is power and a little slide switch for normal ring or silent mode.

I've not had a 4S so I'm not 100% sure where the power button is; I think it is on the top, as with the original iphone 4.

  • Will Apple replace my iPhone 4S if the power button doesn't work? All of a sudden the power button (at the top on the right) of my fairly new (got it about a year ago) iPhone 4S doesn't work. I don't know what happened. Will they replace it for free? Oh and I didn't buy the insurance or whatever.
  • Will apple replace my iphone 4? Power button is stiff? 3 weeks ago my power button was acting funny, Now it requires a whole lotta pressure to turn it off. I push it down so hard that my fingers turn red. It's covered by apples warranty and they're sending me a box to return the iphone. Will they replace it or repair it?
  • Stuck at apple logo with a broken power button? I have been stuck at the apple logo for about 24 hours after I rebooted it. The computer does not recognize it and I can't put it in DFU mode because of broken power button. I got an Iphone 4.
  • Power button and home button doesn't work on iPhone 5C? Hi, so a while ago I dropped my phone in water, I took it to a repair shop and they fixed it but when I got it back the power and home button didn't work, I turned on assistive touch so I can use my home button and turn off my phone, now I can't turn it on without using my charger or having someone text me, is there any other way I can turn it on without having to do that?
