Will apple replace my iphone 4? Power button is stiff?
3 weeks ago my power button was acting funny, Now it requires a whole lotta pressure to turn it off. I push it down so hard that my fingers turn red. It's covered by apples warranty and they're sending me a box to return the iphone. Will they replace it or repair it?
If your phone isn't jailbroken then they will most likely try and fix it first and if nothing can be done then they will replace it. You don't have to worry about losing all your data though
They will repair it most likely. I don't see why you don't go make an appointment to apple & tell them and they will give you a new refurbished iPhone. It will look brand new though & work just as awesome. Yes, right there and then.
In some cases if you say you can't be without a phone while they repair maybe they'll send you a refurbish one first then take your old one. But, I say going to an apple store you get a chance of having it right there now.

- Will Apple replace my iPhone 4S if the power button doesn't work? All of a sudden the power button (at the top on the right) of my fairly new (got it about a year ago) iPhone 4S doesn't work. I don't know what happened. Will they replace it for free? Oh and I didn't buy the insurance or whatever.
- Lock button on my iPhone is stiff? I don't know why, but all of a sudden then lock button on my iPhone has become really stiff. It's only about 6months old, so I don't know why this has happened? Anybody know how I can fix it?

Hi, so a while ago I dropped my phone in water, I took it to a repair shop and they fixed it but when I got it back the power and home button didn't work, I turned on assistive touch so I can use my home button and turn off my phone, now I can't turn it on without using my charger or having someone text me, is there any other way I can turn it on without having to do that?
- My lock button on my iphone is stiff suddenly? I have an iphone 5 that i got not too long ago and suddenly the top lock button has got really stiff when pressing it down and doesn't click anymore. I spilt a bit of tea on the side of my phone the night that it started to mess up so i'm thinking it may be that? Water damage? How can i fix it because i've used a needle to try and gather any dirt from around it but there doesn't seem to be any anymore. Will apple fix it for free or is there something i can do?
