Which iphone ios is the latest with NO CLOUD?
I have an iPhone 4S. It will be my last one because Apple is putting everyone's personal contacts on the iCloud if the ios is too new/ updated.
Which version of iOS may I update to without having my personal contacts on their unwanted cloud?
You don't have to use icloud at all if don't want to, I usually backup to itunes.
I believe it is ios 5. But there's no way for you to get that. Why don't you just turn off iCloud? Go to your settings there should be an iCloud tab and disable the contacts and whatever else you want. Hope I helped.
You just just don't understand very much.
The 4S originally shipped with iOS 5 which introduced iCloud. Technically there's no 4S model that doesn't have iCloud.
But you can simply disable it via the settings, under iCloud. You can choose what to backup or not individually. If you don't want contacts synced then don't enable it. It's that simple.
You don't have to use it if you don't want to. Also you get to decide what goes in it or not if you do use it.
Only matters on what iOS it's running, not what phone model is. Best luck.

Like my music, notes, contacts, and stuff? It's ok if i don't get a jailbreak as long as i don't lose any of my data like music, photos, etc.

- Is there some way that I can download my Samsung Cloud contacts onto my iOS device? I replaced a Samsung device with an iPhone and used Google to download most of my contacts, but some are missing from the list. I know they're backed up to Samsung Cloud, but I can't seem to find a way to access them from iOS.
