Which is better: a silicone or a plastic iPhone case?
Yesterday, I got an iPhone 5s and am currently using a basic plastic case until I can order a new one tomorrow. The one I plan to get is a Rilakkuma case, but there are of course two choices: plastic or silicone.
Which one seems to offer the best protection? Given I dropped my iPod Touch a lot, I know I'm going to need a good case so I don't break my new phone.
So… Silicone or plastic cases?
Silicone case. It absorbs shock better than hard cases. Plastic cases are like shells and nothing more.
Silicone is better at absorbing shock.
Silicone. Plastic doesn't protect it at all. I dropped my iPhone with a plastic case on it (covered the back, as a normal case does) and I didn't know that it had cracked from the fall until I took the case off. My sister did the same with her phone- silicone case- and it did not crack. Given that you do drop your iPod a lot, I strongly suggest a silicone, or, if it isn't too out of your price range, an otter box.
- Will a iPhone 5 Silicone Case fit for an iPhone 5C? Okay so I have the iPhone 5C and I recently bought a iPhone 5 soft silicone case online but, I didn't mean to buy the 5, I meant to get the 5C case except I read the text wrong. Here's a picture of the case I bought on accident: I know iPhone 5C has a more round design but do you still think it'll fit? And for the hole where you get the charge in and stuff on the bottom will that fit with an iPhone 5 case if I have a 5C?
- Which protects the iphone better Silicone or Hard Case cover? For example if I dropped it would the force be transferred to the phone more readily when using a hard cover?
- Which is better the Iphone 5s or the 5c i'm trying to decide which one is better? And what's the difference between these two phones can someone tell me please? I'm trying to decide which one to buy?
- Which is better: a rubber or plastic iphone case? I have an iphone 5 and i've been looking at cases, i don't want any big otter box or anything but the case i'm looking at purchasing comes in a hard plastic or a softer rubber material, which would you suggest to be the better buy?
