Better for what?
Both work well as phones and internet connected devices. You should visit both in person, put them in your hand and play with them for a bit and see which YOU are more comfortable with.
If it was my choice, Note 3, but I like customizing. Android phones are much more customizable than apple, excepting vanity cases of course.
Technically speaking, Samsung has more features than the iPhone. However, for general consumer experience, I still prefer iPhone.
Iphone has the best security (no virus checker neededed like other phones have), and has imessage, siri, facetime, fingerprint access, burst mode and slo-mo camera, free radio, airdrop, and call blocking. It also has the best apps and games along with having Apple stores everywhere to get professional help if you need it.
