Which is faster? A6 processor from apple, or 1.4 quad core Exynos?
I want to know which one is faster, the appale iphone 5's processor (A6 ARM from apple) or the galaxy S' (1.4 quad core Exynos)?
*Apple
And I would imagine that they'd be very similar, but whichever is fastest, they are both going to be pretty fast anyway.
Apple should take the lead on this one, although the specifications regarding the new A6 processor remains illusive it's a pretty safe bet to say that the A6 will outcompete samsung's exynos. The exynos is as you mentioned a 1.4GHz quad core powerhouse, but its a cortex A9 chip and iPhone 5 is rumored to implement the new cortex A15 chip (boosting over 2.0 GHz of clock frequency) for the A6 processor, which is THE most advanced of its kind in existence (and no android has ever used it yet) and bear in mind that most of the rumors regarding the iPhone 5 this year has been more or less true. If that's so, a dual core A6 should be far more powerful and faster than the quad core exynos and FYI cores aren't everything (intel should pay testimony to that). However, if apple does use the cortex A9 chip then the processor will be a quad core and the same as that of the exynos used in galaxy S3. The Apple A6 SoC is based on Samsung Exynos Dual core. Samsung manufactures Apple A6! The answer is logical: Exynos Quad Core is faster then Exynos Dual Core…
- Why are Apple still using dual-core CPUs and 1GB of RAM? Other top of the rnage phones like the S4 are rocking a 1080p 5"+ display, 2GB of RAM and a quad-core CPU and yet the iPhone 5 and 5s do not even have a 720p display and are still are dual-core and 1GB of RAM.

- Is the iPhone 5's A6 Chipset a Quad Core? I don't get it. Some bloggers are saying it is while other bloggers are saying it's a dual core. But then again, why would Apple release a dual core phone?
