Which language is best today for Starting My Career?

I have Completed My BE in Information Technology in 2013. And in now days, I'm totally Confused 4 which Technology should choose. Can any1 please tell me that there's any future in Iphone developement? And if I have to choose from 2 languages - java or.net. Then which one is best 4 me?

The java jobs are listed against frameworks. The reason the Java jobs are listed against frameworks is because Java has tons of frameworks and design patterns ready to be used to make things easier to maintain. The design patterns and frameworks are starting to appear more in.NET now too, so expect to see jobs changing to look more like those Java jobs.

There are just as many patterns and practices in both worlds - but they are more established in the Java community (the Java employer will push them onto you, you will find yourself pushing your.NET employer).

Largely, Java vs.NET is syntax. Do either (do both!). But be aware of the patterns and frameworks as they'll really help you to write better code.

I have read in one Tamil magazine ' Nanayam Vikatan ' that employment opportunity for Engineers are very good in Germany. If one serves till 65 years age they are eligible to get pension also. Learn German!

  • Would playing The Sims in another language be a good way to learn that language? I play The Sims a lot anyway. There's a lot of volcabulary like household objects, emotions, everyday tasks etc This wouldn't be my only way of learning btw. I also have a learning French iphone app and a friend who is fluent.
