Which USB can I use with my 2009 CTS?
I've been looking to download some music onto a flash drive since my CTS won't recognize my iphone and I wouldn't want to keep it in there anyways. I was just curious about the process of putting the music onto the flash drive and then playing it through the car… I obviously use iTunes for all of my music and assume that it's compatible with the car. Also are there any USBs that aren't compatible? What are some that work without a doubt.
USB flash drives are just storage media, there's no specific ones that will work or won't work. You'll might need to format the flash drive in FAT32 though. Also you probably won't want to use iTunes for this, for ease of use, you'll just want to drag and drop MP3's onto the flash drive. Using a file structure like itunes uses will just cause you have to take multple steps to get to any given song you want to hear.
