Who thinks apple needs to renovate and upgrade the iPhone?

I have an iPhone X and to me iPhones are the best quality smartphones but the problem is the iPhones had the same functions since the iPhone 6, the iPhones not innovative anymore. Every smartphone looks like the iPhone X now. When the iPhone first came out, it stood out from other smartphones and was exclusive. Apple needs to renovate and reinvent the iPhone completely. Give it something no other smartphone can have and bring the iPhones true name back. I feel the iPhone lost its touch and name and just became plain and average.

I don't think they should change much, I think they should just stick to not releasing a new phone every year. I think that doesn't make sense in my opinion and they should release one every few years.

Well its not exactly Apple's fault if other companies copied them after the fact. You could say that was the case twice in the iPhone's lifetime. Firstly when the original iPhone debuted which had them go from BlackBerry designs to iPhone designs & now with the notches since the iPhone X's debut.

It technically does have something that others don't. Its Face ID system which actually, as Apple said, is years ahead of the competition & still is. No, the other ones from Samsung, etc aren't the same as they are not as advanced & therefore less secure.

At the same time though I do agree that Apple needs to step up the game & apparently so do the consumer market as the iPhone suffered some sales losses the other day. I do see something coming in 2020 though.

Apple can't really stop other manufacturers from copying their design, when the iPhone X was announced, it was unique, so unique it got a lot of hate (mainly the notch) now it has been copied by many manufacturers.

What are you expecting Apple to do? Completely change the design of their phones every time the design gets copied? There's only so much you can do with a phone before it gets ridiculous
