Why are chinese so desperate to get this American product?
That they would rent their girlfriends and sell their babies?

I didn't read the article in the link, but the PRC will probably disintegrate in the not-too-distant-future (like the USSR) and those Chinese who have the opportunity to arrange an escape route are doing so.
CCP-Chinese are all brain damaged having lived and educated under the barbaric dictator CCP. They're suffering from inferior complex, just 30 years ago they're fed with roots and leaves by their government, no clothes, no shoes, no medicines, nothing and have been locked up since 1949 not knowing how the outside free world is like.
After 30 years of market opening, some Mainland Chinese who are mostly CCP guys have tasted and brought home the wonders of the outside world.
Nowadays possessing foreign brands are pride and prestige to many Mainland Chinese with over 90% of the 1.3 billion still could not afford to leave their hometown.
Hong Kong is one of the first batch of markets to sell IPhone 6 and Plus, China is not included in the 2nd nor 3rd batches. This shows the whole world sees Hong Kong and China are 2 completely different places.
Mainland Chinese are flooding to HK and jetted up the prices of IPhone to 2 - 3 times. An IPhone 6 Plus in gold case is selling 2nd hand for US$5000 in HK and scrambled by many silly Mainland Chinese crossing the border there.
In that particular case, it is entirely possible that the Girlfriend is a nymphomaniac and the Boyfriend can't please her often enough.
- Why is there Chinese text on my son's new iphone 5? Bought the phone new from Best Buy. His phone is set to English language, but he stil has Chinese text in settings. Any idea what is going on?
- Why is my new tab page on iPhone 4S in Chinese? I just updated my iPhone 4S to ios7 and when I'm on safari and click a new tab the "home" page shows sites like Wikipedia and iCloud but the labels are in Chinese for some reason? I don't speak Chinese I've never had my phone in Chinese at all so I don't know why this happened and does anyone know how to fix it? The phone is already set to English but still Safari is Chinese.
- Why are there Chinese characters with Unihan code but do not have a definition? Sometimes I may randomly draw a Chinese character out on the iphone and it matches an existing character, but why is it that when I search it, it doesn't have a definition. I try looking in the unicode databases but still there's no definition and sometimes no pronunciation. Is it because the character's are too old that there's no definition or what. Why would they have a character without meaning?
- Why are the Chinese so obsessed with the color gold? Seriously. I read somewhere that the new gold IPhone has broken sales records for Apple with this new color in China. I really think it's a tacky color. (IMHO) Here in the US I would never consider a gold colored ANYTHING! My favorite color here is black. Elegant, timeless, (what I think) gold colored makes me think of abstemious and noveau riche' people with more money than taste. What say you?
