Why are iPhones advertised at 16GB?
IPhones are advertised at 16GB. I know the operating system takes up space, but instead of saying how much the consumer can actually use, they advertise the entire storage, which includes the operating system. That's kind of misleading.
And that goes for all storage sizes.

They advertise it like that because 1. You think you are buying the full 16GB when in reality the buyer gets less 2.It's a rounded number
Think about it wouldn't it sound odd saying 15.5GB iPhone 5? It sounds better for Apple to say 16GB iPhone 5.
Same reason prices are always ending in.99. Makes you think you get more for your money.
- Will a 16GB iPhone 5 have 16GB of space? I want to get an iPhone 5 and the 16GB will suffice, however I'm concerned about the actual space. I have a 32GB iPod Touch but according to iTunes the maximum space available is 28.5GB. Could I expect this sort of thing to happen on the iPhone?
- Why people like iPhones? I can't never get people who like iphones to give a good reason, why? Some say it easy, but a lot have no clue on how to use their own phones. Can someone explain something useful that great about iphone? Everything they think is special other phones have been doing for years.
- Why isn't my 16gb iPhone 5c letting me save pictures from the internet? When I go on google images I hold the picture until the little menu pops up but the save image option isn't there and I've added it to my reading list and tried again it didn't work either and I just deleted a WHOLE BUNCH of photos my phone is on iOS 7.1 so I don't know what the problem is Please Help ME!
