Why are iPhones cheaper in the United States than in other countries?
Is it me or do electronics just cost cheaper here in America as opposed to other countries?
They are the same the world over in price, the only difference would be import tariffs, taxes and exchange rates.
A common thing companies do when producing products world wide is to simply change the currency symbol without actually changing the price depending on the exchange ratings. A $1000 phone would be £1000 which means it's actually $1300, it's a nasty tactic that is being used by many companies.
Beacuse of taxes
Usually its due to taxes, import duties, etc.

- Why does electronic devices in Turkey cost much more than other countries? For example an iphone 6s would cost 700 dolars (roughly 1.700 turkish lira) but when you look at the turkish apple store it says 2.600 turkish lira. Plus if you buy from another country you have to pay an arm and a leg to get it from customs. Why?
