Why are my songs greyed out on my iPhone 4s?

I have an iPhone 4s and I had it plugged into my computer I have songs I don't listen to so I deleted them all. I went on my phone and All THE SONGS were on my phone but greyed out! I tried to delete them but it didn't work! I don't know what to do and i'm not really liking iTunes anymore!

The mms is working fine but I can't activate my imessage it only shows my email address n my number is greyed out but the number that is greyed out is not my new phone number but the phone number I had when I had it with Verizon… & yes it is on my phone n shows the number at the top of my contacts!   • Why is my iPhone 4S's Wi-Fi greyed out? I bought a new iPhone 4S off Ebay in March, and originally had the same thing when I got it, but over the summer, the Wi-Fi was working fine. Now it's greyed out again and I've tried all of the steps on the Apple website to get it to work, including resetting my whole iPhone and it still won't work. I'm going to ring Apple at some point, and I'm now not gonna buy an iPhone again but I was wondering why it decides to grey out so you can't use it?
  • Why are my Itunes Tone ringtones Greyed Out? My tones appear under the "Devies-Iphone" section but not under my library. Also under the "iphone-Tones" section they are greyed out and will not let me drag or drop them anywhere? They were bought from itunes! Off of my iphone! So No, they are not illegal!
  • Songs on iPhone won't play and are greyed out? When I go to my iPod on my iPhone 4 (OS 7.0.3), and tap on a random song to play, it will be greyed out, with the downloading circle next to it, and the next song is played instead. When I plug it into my iTunes and try to sync the songs again, this will resolve the problem for that song, but another song gets greyed out when I try to play it. Is this because I upgraded the OS? How do I permanently fix this?
