Why are people willing to spend $750 for a new Iphone 6?

Added (1). Is it a status symbol? Why is a phone worth that amount of money?

The iphone offcourse is a very good product, but all the people are now staying in lines not only because of quality that it has, but also because of aggresive advertising present on any channel, and others maybe have alot money and they don't know how to spend it

Honestly i don't know. Iphone has so many issues thats de me switch back to windows phone (then android) but there are plenty of idiots in the world who will just stick with what they have because of lame excuses like "i've been using it since the beginning so i'm gonna keep supporting it no matter how empty my wallet becomes"

Because they are idiot, plan and simple. Someone once told them "apple is so cool and hype, you will be the elite if you have apple products" + "you'll see, with a 750$ phone you could do anything!" (hum… Anything a 300$ phone can do)
Plus, like good sheeps, they believe Apple makes amazing product and go for example for computers that will cost 500$ to build if it was a "regular PC", but because there's an apple logo and an OS with which you can do 40% of what you can do with a PC", they sell it 2500$ (and people actually buy them… Crazy sheeps)

Not to say the iPhone is the only phone calling that price nor is it only now calling that price & there are phones even more expensive than that.

Comes down to, they want it, have the money, go & get it.

Best hardware, best design, not fragmented like android

Why would you ask this question about the iPhone? The world is full of expensive stuff - overpriced designer clothing, overpriced cars, overpriced luxury services, ECG.

At $750 (if that's what it runs) the iPhone 6 won't be that much more expensive than some high end Android phones bought without a contract. I've seen Galaxy S5s being sold in that price range. And since we don't know what features the new iPhone will have there's no way to reliably call it overpriced.

The same reason some girls or boys like to be f%#% in the a@@@.
