Why are some fast food workers begging for $15 an hr when?
E1 privates, phlebotomists, and medical assistants don't even make that much. I'm 21 and I have worked fast food and I didn't beg for $15 an hr.
I have no idea. It makes no sense to me at all.
They can beg all they want to but the honest truth is nobody is ever going to make 15 bucks a hour at a fastfood restaurant they need to thnak god they have a job and stead of moaning be happy with the job they have
You're 21, not 40 with two kids to support and a retirement to plan for.
It's not that we think all jobs are *worth* a living wage, it's that we think everyone who works deserves to receive a living wage. Including all those other jobs you mentioned. Getting individual companies to pay more has been more successful than getting the government to just hand out money.
E1 Privates is a bad example. These people can't even tie their own combat boots.
I'm a medical assistant and i get paid more!
I just graduated from a phlebotomy program and I can't find a job without experience
and when i find a job i doubt theyll pay me $15 an hour
Because they come out of high school or community college and already have a couple of kids and expect that that starter job is going to pay for them and their kids. They should be trying other alternatives like: meeting and marrying someone, having their significant other pay child support, get assistance from the government, or getting loans and continuing on to getting a career.

- What's the best iPhone app food and workout journal? I'm specifically looking for one that adds and subtracts calories based on the activities I'm going and the food I'm eat as well as having a place where I can take and save pictures of my food and progress.
- Since everybody needs food to survive, why doesn't it cost more than an iPhone? If you don't eat food, you would die. Nobody would die if they don't have an iPhone. So, shouldn't the price of food be higher than an iPhone? and most people don't know how to grow their own food which increases their perceived value This is strictly economic question, not a morality question
- Should any tax plan that lowers rates for corporations only give that rate for companies who do business and employ workers in the USA? So, Trump Inc, who manufactures ties in China, gets no tax cut. Neither does Apple because the iPhone is made in China too.
