Why are some of my text bubbles dark bule?

I have just realized that some of my text to and from my husband are dark blue. He doesn't have a iPhone and he has a different phone carrier as well. Can anyone tell me why it's doing that?

Problely An App On your iPhone Is Doing It.

F the other person you are texting has an iPhone or other i device running iOS 5 and they have enabled iMessage then the message bubble will be blue and those messages will not count against your text message plan. If the text bubbles are green it means you are texting someone that:
1.doesn't have an iDevice
2.iDevice is not running iOS 5
3. Has either disabled or has not enabled iMessage in their setting on their device.

You will also notice that the text in the text box (where you type your message) will say either iMessage or text message.

  • Will screen protector show bubbles on my scratched iphone? I just got my iphone 5s about 4 weeks ago and my friend has a screen protector that I'm going to buy tomorrow. I looked at my screen, and there's a tiny scratch on it that you can only see when you look at it in direct light. When I put the screen protector on it, will there be a air bubble where the little scratch is?
  • Why do my text bubbles sometimes change color on the same number? I understand that it's blue when using iMessaging and texting between iproducts, and green for standard SMS messaging. However, when I text a friend of mine with an iPhone, while most of the time the text shows up as blue, occasionally it shows up as green. Is there a reason for this?
  • IPhone XS max takes very dark picture in dark rooms even with flash? My wife just got me the new iPhone XS for my birthday and I wanted to take a picture with the flash in a nearly pitch black room but realized that all the pictures came back very dark even when I used flash. Is there a way to take regular photos with the flash actually staying on when it takes the photo like any other phone?
