Why can't I sync the DVD videos( or movies) to my iphone 5 iTunes to play?

I also know I may need something to help me. So I go to the site and download the latest format factory. Then I try to install on my computer and load the dvd disks.However, I can't be able to transfer the dvd videos to my iphone 5. How should this happen? I'm really feel puzzled. Anyone can help me to solve this problem?

You need a dvd ripper to convert your DVD movie to mp4 video first, then you can use iTunes to sync the mp4 video to your iPhone 5, If you stick with freeware, handbrake will help you do the job well. Or you can try some third party software like this dvd ripper, not free, but works fairly well too.
