Why can't my laptop connect to Wi-Fi?
So, my iPhone, nook, mom's iPhone, mom's iPad… It all connects to Wi-Fi. And the router is downstairs, & everything connects to it except my laptop. But the thing is my laptop USED to connect. Other things are connected too, but those were just a few things connected that are in the same range with other stuff. Like, I'm on my laptop now, but I'm sitting right next to the router, and when I get to my room upstairs, it tells me there's no connections found, even though everything else like my phone connects from up there. What might be the problem?
Some decoders have a Wi-Fi button when pressed will lock on automatic, also some laptops have to have there Wi-Fi switched on (like mine) which is next to the button with a circle and dash in it
Dude lol the answer to this question is pretty simple and obvious… If your router is in a room which has a lot of converging walls it'l block the signal range and will lessen the amount of signal which can be received in your laptop when your upstairs… There's not solution other than shifting the router to a place which is closer to your room n closer to the place where you guys operate your gadgets… N if more than 2 devices are being operated on the same Wi-Fi then your net will work slow.
Simly, Some decoders have a Wi-Fi button when pressed will lock on automatic, also some laptops have to have there Wi-Fi switched on (like mine) which is next to the button with a circle and dash in it
- Why wouldn't my laptop connect to the Wi-Fi? I was on my iPhone this morning and the Wi-Fi was working normally, but when I powered up my MacBook Pro, it said it was unable to connect to the Internet and wouldn't load any pages, yet the Wi-Fi on my phone was working fine. I checked everything, it was all normal, so I just restarted my computer and the Wi-Fi was working. Why did it do this? It's never done this before. This laptop is also brand new and shouldn't have a problem connecting to the Internet
- Why won't my Iphone 4s connect to my new HP laptop? I just bought my laptop about 2 days ago and i downloaded itunes. As soon as i plugged in my iphone, a background noise popped up, and nothing happened. So i opened itunes and it would not show my iphone. Also in my computer, it did not register it either. PS: i know its not a faulty cord, because i tried 3 different ones, and every time i plug it in or unplug it makes that background noise.
- Why won't my iphone 4 connect by usb on my laptop? I have a toshiba satellite laptop on windows 8, I've tried to connect my iphone up to my laptop so that I can connect it to iTunes but every time I try to connect it up it connects for a second gets to the charging screen for a second and disconnects again and does that over and over again. So it basically just will not connect properly to my laptop at all. Does anyone know what this could be? Or know how to fix this problem?
- Why won't my laptop connect to Wi-Fi? I'm staying at a hotel and while my iPod and my sisters iPhone can connect to the hotel's internet, my parents laptop can't. The hotel's Wi-Fi shows up in the list of connections with 3/4 bars but will not connect to it. When I click troubleshoot it says Windows can't identify the problem.
