Why won't my laptop connect to Wi-Fi?
I'm staying at a hotel and while my iPod and my sisters iPhone can connect to the hotel's internet, my parents laptop can't.
The hotel's Wi-Fi shows up in the list of connections with 3/4 bars but will not connect to it. When I click troubleshoot it says Windows can't identify the problem.
Its one of the settings in the network adaptor, checjk the security settings

Does your parents laptop have any virus or has it been acting fishy lately? If so then you may have a virus on the laptop. Or you downloaded something which blocks you from using the Internet on the laptop. All in all, if those two answers don't seem like they help, check your security settings or get your laptop checked by a technician or the company you bought your laptop from.

As soon as i plugged in my iphone, a background noise popped up, and nothing happened. So i opened itunes and it would not show my iphone. Also in my computer, it did not register it either. PS: i know its not a faulty cord, because i tried 3 different ones, and every time i plug it in or unplug it makes that background noise.

I have a toshiba satellite laptop on windows 8, I've tried to connect my iphone up to my laptop so that I can connect it to iTunes but every time I try to connect it up it connects for a second gets to the charging screen for a second and disconnects again and does that over and over again. So it basically just will not connect properly to my laptop at all. Does anyone know what this could be? Or know how to fix this problem?
- Why won't My sprint iPhone 4 won't connect to 3G? Before you say call them I already have ok. Today I had an upgrade but my aunt used it for her phone since I'm on her plan. It went good but then won't connect to 3G after that we called and they said something went wrong but nothing did so I'm wondering is there anything i could possibly do to fix it or should I call the place that did it? Or should I just call sprint or apple? Please help I have to use my phone a lot in places that don't have Wi-Fi.
