Why can't you jailbreak 32 bit iPhones commonly anymore? - 1

Because Apple made it much more difficult to do so with the switch to 32-bit architecture.

Apple don't want people to jailbreak their phones as that helps to ensure that the how iOS devices share data is done safely for all users. Unlicensed apps which can be installed with a jailbreak are far more likely to contain malware, and also far more likely to cause damage to the iOS devices they're installed on.
