Why can't I connect my tmobile iphone with metro?

Added (1). Why can't I connect my tmobile iphone with metro? So I first called and customer service told me they can connect any tmobile phoneor any at&t phone. After purchasing a tmobile iphone from someone I eent to connect it and metro says they can't because it must be unblocked? Why is this hzppening if they said they could do it. I already contacted the guy and they denied the unblock because his contract doesn't end until October. What can I do to connect it besides waiting?

No need to unblock or do anything like that, just get the phone unlocked and it will work with MetroPCS. MetroPCS will say anything to get customers but you need unlocked phone for that. And the seller is right, as his contract is not up, T-mobile won't unlock the phone. If you need help with getting your iPhone factory unlocked, mail me for references.

The IMEI on that phone is not CLEAR because the phone has not been fully paid for yet. So until that happens, you can get the phone UNLOCK, but it will NOT be useable on any GSM cell phone provider in the United States.

Rule of thumb, see and ad you like ask for the phone's ESN / IMEI / MEID, if the "seller" refuses to give it to you and says they can't find it, walk away from the deal. Pretty much means they know that if you call the cell carrier and ask or use one of the many checkers online, you will find that it is either BLACKLISTED due to non payment of the account or Financed and can't be activated on another carrier until it is either paid for or un-blacklisted by the original owner. In the rare cases, you can make a deal with the original cell phone provider to pay off the debt, but then that means you normally end up paying twice what the phone would have been worth brand new.
