Why can't i now receive email on my iphone 4s after buying & using a ipad?

This is just a guess, but when software is set up to get email, it is usually defaulted to DOWNLOAD each email to the reading device. If you used teh Ipad to read (and therefore download) your emails, then the Iphone has no emails to find when it checks.

Set one of the devices to NOT download the email and see if that fixes the problem.

Your iphone is jealous of you getting another I product in the family. You should take the iphone to counseling or reformat it so that it forgets everything.

(p.s. A joke ahhahahahahahah)

btw in response to the above answer, there's no such thing as download to "reading device" only. Perhaps change how your idevice download emails?

  • Why don't I receive alerts or a notification when I receive a text and I already checked my settings? I adjusted my setting and even put the ringer and notifications on and put the volume and ringer on and I receive no alert, no pop up, alert or notification when someone texts me. Why?
