Why do girls take their iPhones and iPods into the bathroom?

It always seems to be girls rather than boys who have accidents with these things falling into the toilet. This morning, my friend told me at church that she dropped her iPhone into the toilet at home while she was getting ready for church. She went to the bathroom, and it accidentally fell into the toilet just after she flushed it, so it went down along with everything else. Now her parents are going to have to call a plumber tomorrow because the toilet doesn't flush properly now.

Its quite easy for your phone to fall down the toilet if its in your back pocket and you forget…

I don't know but that's funny. Maybe it's because guys don't like to tell people about their bathroom time, and girls do?

I take my iPod in the bathroom when I shower, but that's the only time and definitely only in my own house.

If i think i'm going to be there a while i take it to play games.better than sitting their reading the shampoo bottles.

It's only American girls, here in Asia women don't do that.

Don't know if I'm the only one, but I find it really annoying when girls can't seem to detach themselves from their stupid little phones. Especially when going to the bathroom, of all places. It's gross.

I say, if you take your $600 iPhone, which can probably feed a family of four in Cuba for a week, to the bathroom and drop it in the toilet, you totally deserved it.

I always have my iphone in my pocket no mater where I go. I can't imagine droping it in the toliet though. I've never heard of women doing this more than men, actually i've never know anyone to do this so I've no proof women do it that much.

I think it's cuz they're so attached to it that they take it everywhere, they care about their stuff and boys r usually careless they leave their stuff anywhere. If you go to the bathroom with your fone close the toilet top thingy to avoid it falling in the toilet

I take my phone to the bathroom if i'm out because it is always in my purse, and my purse goes with me everywhere. At home my phone does not go into the bathroom at all.

I'm kind of a paranoid person, so I take my phone with me(if I'm home alone) in case I hear someone breaking into my house I can call 911 without having to leave the already locked room and put myself in danger. I make sure to keep it way on the other end of the sink so it won't fall in the toilet. I don't actually use it when I'm in there because I think that's gross.
