Why do people show off their iPhones when basically everybody has one?

I've seen it. All sorts of customizations you can do to iPhones. But one thing I don't get: why do people who have iPhones act so cocky and think their on the top of the world? I mean basically everyone has a iPhone, why does it make them feel special or something?

I'm asking this cause I know people who brought the 4 when it came out. And he was walking around trying to show off that he just brought a iPhone 4. Now I don't hate iPhones but its those kind of people that make me want to get something else so people don't think I'm a show-off prick too.

You must not own a iphone, there amazing there a phone, ipod, Miniature computer i mean what can you not do on a iphone? Beside view things that need a flash player. I'm a college junior and can view my grades rite on my 4s

They think iPhone is a premium phone just because the price they pay for it. Not sure whether they realised or not there are more phones(android) that come with raw power, better battery, camera and customisation. I don't hate iPhone I hate it's gimmicky nature.

PEOPLE SHOW OFF IPHONES BASCALLY TO SHW HOW RICH THEY ARE THEY ALMOST BRAG BOUT ALL APPLE PRODUCTS THEY HAVE. AFTER ALL THERE IS NOTHING SPECIAL IN IPHONES IT'S JUST LIKE THE OTHER PHONES JUST WITH A DIFFERET SERVER. DO NOT GET JEALOUS BE GRATEFUL WITH WHICH PHONE YOU HAVE. THEY SHOW IT TO MAKE US FEEL WE ARE POOR AND WHEN YOU HAVE ENOUGH MONEY DO NOT BRAG EVERYONE WIL HATE IT WHEN YOU DO IT AND WILL NOT COME NEAR YOU

  • Why people like iPhones? I can't never get people who like iphones to give a good reason, why? Some say it easy, but a lot have no clue on how to use their own phones. Can someone explain something useful that great about iphone? Everything they think is special other phones have been doing for years.
  • Why everybody think iPhones are expensive? I mean i hate iphone yes they are expensive for the price you pay for what you get… but they are at the same price with many android phones like xperia z, galaxy s4, note 2, htc one, htc butterfly
  • Why everybody has an iPhone? I See lot of people have iPhone, and i don't know why they spend 800$ for a phone which is not better than other phones. What does iPhone has in compare with other phones?
  • Why does everybody in love with iphones? Android has improved drastically and is now way ahead of iPhone. You can buy a galaxy s3 or a galaxy note for the same price as a little iphone 5… Why are consumers so dumb? Iphones are OK but way overpriced and there's no way to customize them without jailbreaking. *why is everybody in love with iphones?
