Why do so many people have iPhones?

In my opinion, Androids are better. They have more features than iOS. I only see poor people having iPhones. Maybe it's because Apple is showing them everywhere and people are thinking the iPhone is good. But technically, it's not. I see many people have one and I started falling in love with my iPod Touch again as if it's an iPhone instead of my new Android tablet. I was tricked! Androids are dying! D

They are better

Iphone is by far the best security and best design. Android is full of viruses.

They don't iPhones only account for 20% of smartphone sales; 70% are android.

People who have iPhones want others to know they have an iPhone. Conspicuous consumption and heavy advertising are what Apple relies on.

Apple wanted me to pay for every app. I had to sync back on my computer with iTunes for every song I wanted to use on my device and half of them it wouldn't allow use as a ring tone. On the Android I could just download a free app from Google Play and there will be thousands to choose from (mp3 editors, convert songs to ringtones, free free FREE). I traded in my iPhone 5 and got the HTC Droid DNA instead. I've never had an HTC, but the Google Play market place is much better and the main reason why I don't like the iPhone. There's so much to choose from, nothing on Apple. Oh well for the iPhone. Steve Jobs was an innovative genius, but now that he's dead they need to stop banking on his creations and do new inovative stuff or it will be the full Google takeover once again, along with Microsoft Windows Phone (which I hate). Android is better!

You only think Android is better because you are only looking at specs. How do you know those people are poor? Did you ask them how much money they have?

The iPhone has better support. What Android phone from 2009 runs a current operating system? None. Rooting doesn't count, you can root anything, including an iPhone.

What features make Androids better? 4G on more models which blows through battery and data and isn't available in most of the world? Flash which is dead? Bigger screens which mean a bigger and bulkier device? SD cards which are now irrelevant with Drop Box and iCloud? HDMI that is irrelevant with Air Play? Removable batteries that nobody ever takes out and makes the device heaver? AMOLED screens that oversaturate colours? NFC so people can steal your information from the terribly un-secure OS?

Plus, you can go and sell your Apple device and get a ton of cash after two years, whereas you probably can't even give away that HTC Evo who's plastic is all scratched up and is lagging away like crazy stuck on 2.3.

1. Either your area is full of douches.
2. Android is 70% of market share
3. More douches.
