Why do so many people like mobile Apple products?

I just don't understand why people love the iPhone/iPad/iPod. Sure it is simple and pretty. But looks don't matter and simplicity is not always a good thing. I used to have an iPod 4 (terrible mistake by the way) and I used to like it. Then it got boring and outdated. 2013 Christmas I got a Nexus 7 2012 Google/Android/Asus tablet. I really like it. Android allows you to do whatever you want to your device. While apple is limited/restricted to what you can do on YOUR DEVICE that YOU BOUGHT! There's way more variety in choosing an android device. While with apple it's one-sized-screw-all. I just think that people with apple devices have more money than sense. There are phones out there with quad-core processors while apple only has double core. They're also small (4 inches, really?) and too fragile. It's camera has only 8 megapixels which is pitiful now a days in the smart phone universe. Android has way more customization. Sure apple has customizing only if you jailbreak it. Then apple cancels your warranty. I just don't see why people prefer less to more. On all apple commercials all they do is unlock the thing. While on other commercials they actually show you features. Macs are good computers. I just wish all products were equally famous so that there would be less apple accessories and more android/windows. I have a feeling that if sole weren't simple and pretty that it would go out of business.

Macs are definitely a superior machine so that's one benefit of an Apple over Windows. As far as mobile devices (tablets/phones, etc.), they are limited but their idea as you said is to make everything simple. They are nice looking devices, lightweight and have great processing power and a nice battery life. I do think they are a little overpriced but I personally own an iPhone even though I know an android can do more than mine can do and for the same price.

Also, Apple has nice things such as iCloud and great new features with iOS 7.

To some people, apple seems better because:
1. Show off to people: Look I'm wealthy, I'm fashion.
2. Following blindly.
3. Pretend to be among those "fashion" people.
4. Only buy the more expensive things.
5. Dislike big phone.
6. Have more choice of the accessories.

Best design and best hardware by far. The real question here is why did you go to a messageboard, and spend 20 minutes typing that big long paragraph to cry about it? Thats the real question here.

Only old and dumb people use apple products coz its intuitive. Nothing comes close too android in terms of customisation, versatility, productivity and beauty.
