Why do so many teens buy iphones?
I mean other phones can text and call friends and family exactly the same. Is it because of the games and apps, because if not then I think people are just wasting money to look 'Cool'.
Kids of all ages love "toys".

I personally think that they want to get one because they want to look cool to frankly the iphone isn't ever the best phone as far as specs go so there are other options out there that are better
Apps. They are not just games. You can research, read books, use a calculator etc. I don't know how I survived before Siri reminded me how to eat.
Teens or no teens only the brainwashed fanboys would buy the iPhone to make them look "cool"…

around 83% of teenager's own a smartphone (be that Apple, Android, Windows or Blackberry. Also
the I phone's all have many features that some phone's can't compete with: Siri, their cameras and
variety of Apps. I do agree that teenagers my age waste their money as they could buy Android (my personal fave.
I'm a teenager with an iPhone and it isn't to look cool, when you have an iPhone, you can download loads of apps that aren't only fun and games but also have practical aspects like the calculator app or revision apps do. It has such variety in what it does from all the apps to fast Internet and so much more that, if you have one, it isn't necessary to have to buy a PSP or other gaming device because you have it all on your phone and it can keep you entertained you for hours. The cameras are also really good quality which means buying a separate camera isn't necessary either and makes getting good quality pictures really easy and you can take it anywhere unlike a big bulky camera. I have mine because it is a really good phone that I love, I didn't even tell most my friends when I got mine and don't take it to to school or show it off and if people do know I have one, it's from seeing me on it
Because most kids get everything handed to them on a silver platter with a gold coated spoon.
I have an iPhone 5and I'm 15 I also have a Nexus 10 I'm not an Apple fanboy but I chose an iPhone because they last longer in a sense that when I go to sell my iPhone in 2 years I can get a pretty good resale value.

Because they maybe like them or they think they will be cool if they have one must of the kids at my school have one. I'M jealous.
It's because of the brand, the high price (i can afford this ridiculously expensive phone so it gives me status) and obviously if the majority has it then everyone has to have it to fit in.
- Why people like iPhones? I can't never get people who like iphones to give a good reason, why? Some say it easy, but a lot have no clue on how to use their own phones. Can someone explain something useful that great about iphone? Everything they think is special other phones have been doing for years.
- Why do teens make fun of me for not having an iPhone? I can afford an iPhone but i choose not to buy one because i'm very clumsy so i have a flip phone. Someone in class walked around asking for an iPhone charger to borrow and i said i don't have one and they said "oh yeah… That's because you don't have an iPhone" The tone in which that person said it really bothered me but i didn't say anything back. Does she think she's better than me because she has an iPhone?
- Why do so many people have Iphones? I think there ABSOLUTE crap? The screen is tiny, it has no character, only one boring menu, the screen is dull, it COST 80 DOLLARS A MONTH and the stretched out design is UGLY. I think that even Samsung phone is even better than those overrated phones.
- Why do so many kids have iphones, blackberrys, and smart phones? I mean little kids as young as 5 years old. It really does annoy me because they are little and don't need a really expensive phone just for emergencies. I always see them on the phones and ipods. My brother is almost in middle school and has the cheapest phone. And i'm in highschool and my phone is nowhere near the expesive phones the elementary kids have infact my phone is used so i got for free.
