Why do some people want me to get an iphone so bad?

I have a blackberry bold recently purchased since my 10 month old curve fell into the sewer. People wonder "omg get an iphone!" To me an iphone isn't a real phone. I prefer blackberries because I can email and work on it. I can't do half the things I find important on an iphone. My sisters, friends all have iphones and I don't enjoy them. I've given myself a chance to use it and it doesn't suit me or my lifestyle. Why don't people get this?

A lot of people think the iphone is the best smartphone there's out in the cell phone market. They would not even consider a Sony Xperia TL, Sony Xperia Z, Samsung Galaxy SIII, Samsung Galaxy S4, Motorola Moto X, LG Optimus G Pro, LG Intuition, LG Optimus Zone or the HTC One. Even when some of these phone have lager screen then the iphone and 13 mp camera.

I'm not a iphone user at all and NEVER cared about them at all. I have always been a Ericsson user even before the Sony name was part of it. These days maybe only some Ericsson parts are being use for the phnones, but not the brand name anymore. My friend is also not a iphone user at all. He use to have either a Blackberry Storm or Blackberry Touch, then to the Motorola Droid Razr. His next phone might be a Motorola Moto X, come next yeear when it time to get a new phone and renew his contract.

  • Why people like iPhones? I can't never get people who like iphones to give a good reason, why? Some say it easy, but a lot have no clue on how to use their own phones. Can someone explain something useful that great about iphone? Everything they think is special other phones have been doing for years.
  • Why do some iPhones cost $200 and some cost $900? Is there like data forever or something on these jacked up price or are you literally buying a $900 iPhone when you can only use it for Wi-Fi? And why does it cost so much less when you get it with a service plan like AT&T?
  • Why do people want to get the latest technology? I still have an iPhone 4S, it's working fine except the home button is messed up but I can live with it. Because the phone can still be used to call and do what phones do. Why do people feel the need to buy the latest Phone when they don't need it?
  • Why do I look so bad in some photos? Some photos I look really good in. My hair, skin, facial features and everything looks natural, but others look like a completely weird version of me, especially photos taken with the iphone 4 camera or flash photography.
