Why does every one have a iphone?

I'm in 7th grade and have an Nokia Lumia 521 and everyone I mean even my poor friends have a freaking iPhone 5s or something iPod I don't know the generation Kay! XD even the 6th graders the only person I know who doesn't is one of my friends.ugh makes me feel left out what's so great about it? The features? And what generation does most people have?

Added (1). How much does the iPhone 5s cost?

It's so funny. Apple's selling point back in the day use to be basically to be different from the rest. Their ads would have like Einstein and other quirky individuals that dared to be different and stand and made a difference in the world.

Honestly, their stuff is ok. But it's just so proprietary and locked out from the possibilities of other mainstream uses that it turns me off. I stick to their old slogan, DARE TO BE DIFFERENT.

Your little phone costs about $600 if you attach a contract to it, sometimes down to $300/depends.

Cause there cool

Well, iPhones are actually in the minority. Android based phones have been the majority in the smart phone pie chart for quite a while. They hold about 81% of the current market right now, so it's quite clear that what you perceive is just a high density area of iPhone users (the people around you).

You shouldn't be feeling left out, honestly. You're not missing much, and your Android phone can actually do alot more than what the iPhone can. You have alot more options available on your phone (in its settings), which can help you customize your phone to your liking. Don't feel like peer pressure is getting the best of you. It's never a good thing around your age.

Despite the fact that i like using Mac computers, i actually got an Android just because everyone i knew had one. Do i regret it? Not really. I don't mind IOS and i may get it as a future phone to try it out, but i do like my current Android phone quite a bit and i don't plan on replacing my current cell phone for at least another 3-4 years. It works perfectly fine, and i'm quite happy with it.

Decide for yourself, and not based on what others have.

Apple products work pretty well. The iPhone 5s is PRETTY expensive, but majority of people have the 4s (this is what I have) or the 5c.
Features:
•everything above the 4s has Siri
•everything above the 4s has panorama (a type of photo thingy)
•IOS7.0.4
•5c has many color choices
•5s has a finger scan ( when you are on your lock screen you can put your finger on the home button and it atomatically logs you in. It only lets in certain peoples finger prints. You can add up to like 3 finger prints In the settings.)

To be honest, in this day and age, it has boiled down to the name. A lot of people feel it's a status thing. Specs-wise, there are many, many other phones out there that are much better than what Apple has been putting out. Few customization options, no micro-SD slot to add memory, most apps from the App Store have to be paid for versus a lot are free on Android, etc. They've stuck with one main line as far as physical look. No option for a physical keyboard if you wanted it. Very slowly adjusting screen size. Plus, very overpriced for what you're getting. They're 'cool' doesn't quite cut it when it comes down to facts.

Well apple is cool so is android it just depend on what it is your going to be doing most of the time with your phone. But at end of the day you get what you paid for

Iphone is best hardware and best design, by far

  • Why does my Facebook photo upload fail every time on my iPhone 5? I recently got an iPhone 5 and this morning I tried to upload four photos to Facebook from my camera roll, but the progress bar would quickly reach 25% and then say "upload failed." I have enabled location services from Facebook (others' solution to this same problem) and it didn't work. How do I successfully upload photos?
  • Why does every little kid have an iPhone these days? It gets pretty annoying. I don't even have a phone yet, and I'm 15. These kids are spoiled. Anyone agree?
  • Why does every kid have an iphone 5 these days? I don't have any of that lol. I own a Samsung corby 2, bought from an airport in korea. My friends have iphone 5's and are really proud of it, so proud they laugh at me (sarcastically) for not having an iphone. And every high school student has one. They're so common they make the galaxy s3 look like a regular phone. i'm not trolling
  • Why do i have to enter my password for my itunes account every time i go into my music on my iphone? Every time i open my music app on my iphone 5c it pops up a box telling me to sign in to the itunes store. When i click cancel it keeps popping up until i type my password. It's been happening for about 3 days now and it won't stop happening. Is there any reason for this to be happening? If so, is there a way to stop it from happening? It's really obnoxious having to type my password every time i want to listen to music.
