Why does everyone hate the iPhone?

Like the internet is just full of people that be like "iPhone suck" and "iPhones are overated" and "Steve jobs was stupid" and stuff. Like why? I see people with iPhones all the time. I actually played with the iPhone 5s at the store the other day and it was pretty awesome. Like 64 bit processing and a fingerprint sensor? A slow mo camera? Sweet! Why does everyone hate iPhones? They seem to be very nice phones.

I don't doubt their products. I believe it has to do with the type of people that own them. Not going to get into detail but it is hard to say anything nice about Apple fans. Very self absorbed and selfish. Every single person I have met or used to be friends with are not good people. Your mileage may vary.

Non Apple people don't go around saying they are this and that and trying to start fights. It is the Apple people that always tries to start a fight and that is when non Apple people fight back.

I have both the 5s and a nexus 5. The iPhone is overrated because it very limited in what it can do whereas the nexus 5 does so much much more than an iphone (too much to explain). Trust me iPhones are a gimmick.

People just like to argue on the internet, typical messageboard posters. But really who cares what they think? Most are just jealous or crybabies, this is very common across messageboards.

I would not know. I'm personally an Apple fan. I feel since Apple tighly controls the OS and makes certain (illegal or questionable) actions much harder to do they get hate. Simple fact is Apple makes a better product. The iphone 5s still beats out the Galaxy S5 in terms of performance. There only real complain is screen size which will soon be a non-issue.

They have androids and don't want to admit they are amazing! Apple is a great company and Steve Jobs was one of the smartest guys in technology. The only bad thing is the price and that's it. They are more than androids. People that hate iPhones probably hate them because they jailbroke it. It probably effected the internet speed. I don't know but I have android and I love anytype of smartphone. This world is always full of hate. Just ignore it and go on with your life. Ignore the haters. Don't get those stupid shirts that say I <3 haters. Those are stupid haha. But yeah there are always haters in the world.

For the record the iPhone ends up being the best selling phone in its year of release, so for however many people that hate the phone there are 1000s more than love it.

People who can't afford the iPhone often pretend to hate it. But you can tell by the look in their eyes when they see a shiny iPhone glinting in the sunlight that they don't hate it at all-quite the contrary.
