Why does my grandma hate me?

My grandma is notorious for my older half sister being her favorite grandchild. But she also favors my other cousins. Way over me.
It's obvious if you look at her iPhone her screen is my sister and then her other screen is my two cousins…

Ever sense i was little i don't think she liked me. The only story or probably memory she has of me as a kid was her (probably being mean) telling me i was a 4, to do something and i replied your not my mom i don't have to listen to you (I applaud my little self bc she really is so strange to me)

One time she took my sister to get shoes and she decided she's buy me a pair too and i picked out a shoe and showed it to her, she said it was ugly and i put it down. My sister later picked up the same shoe an my grandma replied differently to her, she told her they looked cute on her.

She takes my sister out all the time and never invites me, the one time she did she freaking told me what I had to order.

She gives me dirty looks for nothing and if i do something she always acts like i'm Doing it wrong and she acts like i should do everything

She would yell at me for a dirty kitchen when i missed a day of cleaning but never once yelled at my sister for huge disgusting messes she has made.

My sister is basically opposite of me, I'm hardworking shy soft spoken, very intelligent in school i'm witty and i'm very opinionated.

And in the way she talks to my cousins i can tell its different from me, very different.

She makes rude comments to me like when i was over weight i said i didn't like spaghetti and she told me i didn't look like a picky eater. I was twelve and it was very offensive not to mention… She is very over weight and has been her whole life

She complains about my mother and i know she doesn't like my mom, and my mom knows because my mom has no problem accepting it and she knows my grandma hates me too but my dad who its his mother he will get pissed when i say she doesn't like me

Because she's ignorant. My grandmother is the same way. Always has been, and I'm 41 years old. I feel really bad for you though because I was incredibly hurt by it until I was in my early 30's.

I feel you. But I'm an only child. I guess its just a grandma thang… Or some senior misery disorder

Same with me though I'm the older sister and de favors my little sister. She never does anything to her. If I say to my sister you are being mean I'll be grounded for a week (though she can't ground me.) she hates my mom too and my grandma calls me self centered, mean, disrespectful, uncaring, ect ect. I don't really understand it though bc I go to do community service work a lot! I know how you feel I'm 12 and I get where your coming from. It still hurts but I got used to it and it's not as bad anymore!
