Why does my head look much longer and larger on the iPhone

It makes me look So ugly I know my face is oval but it makes it look manly is this really now I look?&

It does that depending on how far your face is from the camera lens. If you hold your camera a few inches from your face, you usually do not get your head looking small. If you hold it about a foot away, you'll maybe get a good picture. And it depends on how large your lens is. A small one will make your head look big. A lens about the size of your iPhone screen would have the opposite effect. There's a button where you can do it. Just to to your camer and there will be a icon the looks like a flipping camera, do that and take your picture.
