Why does my iPhone 4s screen not work? Possibly Water Damaged. Light Flashing?
I have an iPhone 4S and while i was swimming in a pool i think i might have splashed water on it. When i go to check it out i clicked my home button and nothing worked, then i click my power button, finally the home screen shows. Then suddenly the screen turns black. I asked a friend to call it and when he does it rings and the LED light goes on like i set it up to do. Then when he hangs up the LED light is still flashing. Then i ran home plugged it into my computer and it recognized it. But just now it doesn't. I recently got a new battery and when it turned off i saw it at 52%. I now have it in a container of rice. The light also stopped shining unless its plugged in to computer.
Added (1). This isn't the phone i bought from ATT because that one broke i had to get a new one.
Check (shine light) into the dock and the headphone jack. If the indicator at the bottom is red then it has been wet and your warranty is voided. HOWEVER, take the phone to Apple and they will replace it if the indicator is white.
- Why does my iphone screen not light up or make any sound when i get a text? So my iPhone 5 will ring when someone is calling me and when I put an alarm on. But whenever I have a text come in the screen does not light up and it does not make its usual sound either. I don't know why its doing it! It started a couple of days ago. I've made sure the ringer is on every time and its turned up on full! If anyone has a clue that'd be great!
- When i get a notifation when screen is locked, The screen will not light up? I have a Telus Iphone 5c Updated, and my phone must be on silent in class. I don't want to keep checking my phone constantly to see if I have an alert, text, etc… But when I get a notification and my phone is locked, nothing happens. How can I get it so my lock screen "wakes up" or turns on when I get one? I have everything on in the settings->notification centre
- My iphone speaker will not work after i water damaged it, is there any fix? I accidently spilled orange juice on my iphone and i thought it was fine as it operated after i wiped it off. I noticed later that i could not hear the other person during a phone call. Are there any fixes to this or do i have to buy another phone out right?
- Iphone screen flickering/flashing around the screen edges? Hi, I was uploading songs to my iPhone, until iTunes crashed. I closed iTunes and then opened it again, and replugged my phone in.iTunes would pick up the phone so I turned the iPhone on and off. When the iPhone came back on the screen was flashing. Like a flickering, just around the edges of the screen. The middle of the screen is fine. any ideas?
