My iphone speaker will not work after i water damaged it, is there any fix?

I accidently spilled orange juice on my iphone and i thought it was fine as it operated after i wiped it off. I noticed later that i could not hear the other person during a phone call. Are there any fixes to this or do i have to buy another phone out right?

I had the same problem and what I did was get a bag of rice and placed my phone inside of it. Leave it in over night and it will hopefully work

You could try turning it off and putting it in rice for a few hours, which can help draw out the moisture.

I accidentally dunked my ipod in a sink full of water i took off the covers and let it dry and turned it off my speaker didn't work either but when i wole up in the morning the ipod was dry and it worked perfectly

  • IPhone sounds play from ear speaker, not bottom speaker? Every so often, when I double click the home button, scroll over to the volume level, there's a little symbol for air play. When selected, I can play sounds from either the I phones ear speaker or the bottom (louder) speaker. However, this seems to go in and out and most of the time the air play icon isn't there. How do I fix this?
