Why does my iPhone 5 battery run out so quickly?

Recently these past few months my white iPhone 5 battery has been running down very quickly, lasts up to 2-3 hours then turns itself off, then ill turn it back on moments later and it will say something like 14% battery left when it was on 1%. Ill charge it over night so in the morning Ill leave the house with it on 100% percent and within 2-3 hours is almost dead! Someone help! I haven't got that many apps I deleted the music apps so I have lots of space?

Go to apple store and ask there?

I think the current software is poor, so it should get better when thy update it, or your battery could have run down and become weak, hen you need to ask apple

I had the problem… Make sure when you close your apps you don't just press the button. You need close the app fully… That is what i do now and my phone lasts all day now…

I don't think thats the problem of space. Your iphone battery is probably broken somehow. You should bring it to Apple.

You might have a ton of apps still open in the background. Close them.

  • Why does my iphone battery run out so fast? My battery was lasting normal but all of a sudden I don't even use it and it drains my battery and I always lock it when I'm done using it
  • Why does my iPhone battery die so quickly? I had my iPhone for about a year and a half, and recently I've noticed that the battery is draining incredibly fast. I've always had it on 3g internet/Wi-Fi and the battery never died this fast so I don't know what the exact problem is. I charged it to 100% yesterday and I only used it for maybe about 10 minutes and left it untouched for the rest of the night. Today when I woke up the phone was dead. I haven't changed the settings or anything fyi.
