Why does my iPhone 5 only charge when it's off?
The charger was working perfect until I plugged it in when my phone was dead…
My phone took so long to turn on, probably close to 20 or 30 minutes, and it was charged to 3% but when it turned on it wouldn't charge.
I thought my charger broke so I tried my sisters but that one didn't work either.
Do you know how I can fix this or what's wrong? Please answer!
Hold the power button to your iphone and slide to shutdown. Then try charging again and make sure you plugged in tightly.
- Why will my iPhone only charge when plugged into my laptop? I've swapped cords, outlets etc. It's just something with the darn phone. Help! To explain further I have swapped outlets, cord etc. This means that I have taken another iphone and a different charger and attempted to charge them. Other iphones work, just not mine, Mine will only charge at my laptop.
- Why does only my works Wi-Fi keep kicking me off and making me log in and accept terms? I just got a new iPhone and I'm always connected to my home Wi-Fi and any other Wi-Fi is fine. I used to have an android and when I logged in and accepted terms I would be logged in all day. But with this iPhone it kicks me off and brings up the log in screen every time I use my phone! Help! And btw my works Wi-Fi is good I work at a well known hospital in San Diego.

I've tried different chargers and I don't think that s it. When it's on and I plug it in the lightning bolt doesn't show up and the percentage fluctuates a lot.

When it turns on its at 3% but then it stops charging and if I try to use it unplugged it dies really fast. Another thing is that it stays at 1% if it's plugged in and it stays on if it's plugged in. I really don't know what's going on. Is it the charger or is it the phone? I'm confused.
