Why does my iphone have no signal?

Iv'e had thhe iphone 3GS for 7 months and the singals always been fine. Today i lost signal and it won't come back, despite being in places that i know have signal.(such as my house) How can i get my signal back!

Turn the phone off and take out the SIM. Put the SIM in after few minutes and turn the phone on. See if the problem persists. You can also check with other SIM too if you're getting any problem with the other SIM. If still there's a problem after restarting the phone, there might be some problem with the antenna.

There's a problem with 02 i've been down for 5 hours now, it was on bbc website grrrrr

  • Why don't I have signal on iPhone 5? I cut a t mobile micro sim into a nano sim and it recognises the sim but no bars of signal are coming up. When I put the sim into another phone it recovers texts and signal but when I put it back into my iPhone 5 it says no service but it recognises the sim as EE and Tmobile and orange. I was wondering if I need a proper nano sim or is it the phone that's broken.
  • Why does my iPhone constantly lose its signal? I have Verizon (6 year customer) and have had my iPhone 4s for 1 year now, however, the past month or so I will be sitting in my house on my phone with 3-4 bars loading a page on the internet or using an app requiring data and I'll just directly go to "no service" (as noted by the small "o" in place of the "3G" icon. Not sure what it is, but my service has been abysmal lately, I've cleared all cache and website data, but nothing seems to be working:/
