Why does my iPhone have so little memory and uses so much?
Littarally, I bought a 16gb iPhone 5s for £470 and after I set it up, it said 12gb capacity and 10.4 gb memory left, after 30 short songs, a few 20mb apps and around 10 3 min vids and 30 pics, 4gb is gone. What is this?
Do you think it just runs on air? Obviously the OS needs space. 10 gb left is alot though.
You must be careful coz the phone doesn't come exactly with 16gb because of default apps already installed on the phone. It could also be your apps and videos so don't make it seem like a small thing. Coz vids take up the most space on a phone, especially games and movies.
The iOS shouldn't take up 6gb and the vids are 3 mins long.
- Why is there such little memory in electronics? You would think by now there would be more than just a 16, 32 and 64gb option for most devices. Considering 64gb can fit into a small SD card why can't an iphone have a couple hundred gb of memory in it. Or an ipad as well. It doesn't make any sense.

Iphone, ipad, tablet computers, webpages. Cloud computing. 3. Wi-Fi -radio communications for us to talk to each other. 4. Youtube videos. 100000 of webpages, 10000s of web channels. WHY GOD So LOW TECH? WHY GOD Can't CODE A COMPUTER? WHY GOD So AFRAID OF TECHNOLOGY?
- Why does my photos on my Iphone take up so much memory? I had about 500 photos and it was 6.0GB, then i literally deleted all except 4 of my photos. So I have 4 photos and its 5.2 GB?! Please Help ME FIX THIS it takes up all my memory, by the way i have a 16GB IPhone 5, Thanks!
- Why does my music take up so much memory? I have 275 songs. 1.8 gigs. Why do the songs take up almost 2 gigs? What ever happen to "1 gigabyte holds 1000 songs?" I have an iphone 4 synced with an iTunes account.
