Why does my iPhone keeping saying I have low storage and 0 bytes?
I keep getting a notification on my iPhone 6 saying I have no storage so I click on the settings option it supplies. When I go onto that it said I have 0 bytes left.
I then thought I would delete a couple of bigger apps such as YouTube and a few more. My next step was to delete half of my photos so now I'm only left with 400. I deleted unnessesarry messages and mail I had. But after doing all of this it still says I have 0 BYTES LEFT!
I've only bought a couple of songs off of iTunes.
It's so frustrating because it keeps crashing my apps and causing them to not work properly. I'm having to constantly restart my phone and even after that sometimes it still don't work. When I'm texting someone the messages start scrabbling up and sometimes vanishing. WHAT SHOULD I DO?!
Typically it is because you ran out of iCloud storage, not phone storage. ICloud is a cloud based service that backs up your phone, after time it will hold so many backups that it can't house any more. I don't think that your phone is out of storage, it is most likely your iCloud. If this is the case you don't have many options. You can purchase a larger plan which is only around $12.
Do a hard reboot. To do this hold the power button down and the home button down at the same time until the white apple comes up. After this, check your numbers to see if they have changed. Works on mine.
- Why is my iPhone saying I have so much storage used? I'm trying to download iOS7 and it takes 2.9 GB of space. My phone says I'm using 5.7 GB of the space but I have no music, no photos, no videos, and my apps only take up 288 MB. I also deleted all of my messages and and recent calls. Any ideas?
- Why is my iPhone saying i have no storage left? I have deleted over 800 pictures and my iPhone is still saying i have barely enough storage. I can't even record videos on my snaphcat because it says theirs not enough storage. I don't have very many apps, maybe around 30. Please help because i only have like 100 pictures now and its still saying it.
- Why is my 128GB iPhone 6S so low on storage? My two most space-consuming apps or my music and photos, which combined take up exactly 11GB. All my other apps combined use up about 10GB total… So why does my phone say I only have 8GB of space available? About a month ago I checked and it said I had 80GB of available space. Also, its software is completely up-to-date if that may have anything to do with it.
- Why does my iphone keeps saying no available storage? I have the iPhone5 and when I open up my camera it says "Can't take photo there's not enough available storage" and it gives me the option to go to storage and when I do it says I have 3.2 mb available in storage and on my iCloud it says i have 9.4 GB free and 15GB total available. Why won't it let me take more photos? I bought the $20 iCloud storage thing a while back. And I don't even have that many photos, I only have like 400
