Why does my iPhone lose so much batter when it's off?
So I have an iPhone 4S that I often use to play games. It does not have that many apps, only the base apps and around 15 extra. When I turn it off for 20 minutes uncharged, it loses 8% battery from 100%. I've turned off Bluetooth and Data Roaming, and I turned off all Notifications. My brightness is only at 25%.Is there an explanation for this mysterious draining of my battery? My iPhone is around 1.5 years old.
Added (1). I mean battery, btw. Oh yeah, and it's Jailbroken, but I haven't used it to download anything that would make my phone run down…
Your battery is getting worn out, it's time to replace the battery and how is your iPhone 4S 1.5 years old? IPhone 4S was released late October 2011. You also mentioned that your phone is jailbroken that also explains the short battery life since Cydia apps (even the preloaded ones) runs continuously in the background. If you want to maximise your battery life, I recommend you turn your phone to 2G mode and switch off data when you're not using the internet and also close all apps that you're not using.

I have Verizon (6 year customer) and have had my iPhone 4s for 1 year now, however, the past month or so I will be sitting in my house on my phone with 3-4 bars loading a page on the internet or using an app requiring data and I'll just directly go to "no service" (as noted by the small "o" in place of the "3G" icon. Not sure what it is, but my service has been abysmal lately, I've cleared all cache and website data, but nothing seems to be working:/
