Why does my iPhone photos show the places they were taken?
I noticed that if someone sends me a picture and I save it to my photo album it'll show where the location the picture was taken at.
Some of the pictures I take myself too will show the location in my album.
I'm wondering exactly why it does this lol
It's called Geotagging. When you take a photo it locates your location you took the photo and saves it to your picture. It's great for keeping in track where you took photos. In the Places tab on the Photo app on your iPhone it shows where you took that photo.
- Why does my iPhone 6 (16 GB) show that 11 gigabytes are taken up, when only about a gigabyte of my storage is actually being used? Please tell me, I can barely do anything on my phone with this! And please tell me if there's a way to fix it!
- Why does my Iphone 4s have 6 gigs taken up by photos? I only have 860 photos on the entire phone and a few very short videos. I have checked the files in the DCIM folder to see if there were some in there that were not showing but there's only the 860 listed. I have no idea how 860 photos could use up that much memory. My friends Iphone has over 2000 pictures and only 2.5 gigs are taken up.
- Why does my camera roll say albums and places at the bottom? I have an iphone 4s and when i go to my camera roll, at the bottom it says "albums" and "places" it has never said this before today and id like to get rid of it please help.
- What are places I can go where they can reset my iPhone? I was given an iPhone 5s by a friend who can't get into their email for their APPLE ID password reset and they don't know the pass (obviously) the SIM card from my old phone is not compatible because the iPhone 5 is from ATT and my SIM card is sprint(?) so what places do you know of I can go to clear the data on it, idek the term of a service you would call this, and also price wise?
