Why does my laptop keep losing internet connection?
We have three laptops, a desktop, and a few iPhones connected to our wireless router. They all work perfectly fine except for one laptop. It keeps losing internet connection but it stays connected to the router. Sometimes it will say 'Limited' when it loses the internet, and sometimes it won't say anything at all. Every other device is working without an issue. It's just this one laptop. Does anyone know why?
Added (1). Also, the only way to get internet back is to disconnect the laptop from the router and reconnect it. It's like 5 feet away from the router.
Sounds like either the laptops Wi-Fi or driver not working properly. Try reinstalling the driver first. (computer management, devices, select the Wi-Fi device, right click, properties, uninstall. You can then reinstall.
If this doesn't work, try an usb Wi-Fi dongle instead of your inbuilt Wi-Fi.

I looked at the power settings too, as it is sometimes set to switch off Wi-Fi to conserve power, but it does it even when plugged in. Also, it had no problems when I used it with the Wi-Fi in US for the past month. I'm in India now.

And at times i turn on airplane mode then off and i'll recover signal for a couple of moments and i've tried turning it on and off as well as taking out the sim card, problem has been on going for 3 days -thanks

I have had an hp envy for about a year and ever since the first day it would connect to my router and in 30 seconds it will say i have no network connection or no internet connection. I thought it was the new router i got but i replaced it and this still happened, all of my other Wi-Fi devices (iphone, ipad, xbox 360, wii) connect fine and never have this problem.
