WHY DOES MY MUSIC NOT WORK ON IPHONE ANYMORE

I'm really really really pissed off right now. Like seriously, i almost smashed my iphone to the ground. This is not the first time that this has happened. Previously when i had the iphone 4s, the music worked fine for the first 8 months and then music just stopped working(but worked on one ear).So then luckily a month after that my contract ended so i was able to get the iphone 5. Worked fine for the first month and a half and then randomly, the music stopped working for no reason. And i've tryed other headphones too and it still didn't work. This just happened 20 minutes ago and i'm seriously pissed and i don't have anger issues either. The only thing i can come up with is the lifeproof case i have and had. Because you need to connect your headphones to this headphone jack thing that you need to listen to music. The music on the iphone 4s stopped working 2 weeks after i got the lifeproof case. And not long after i got the case for the 5, it stopped working too. This phone has never been dropped or physically damaged in any way at all. Is there any possible reasons on why the music stopped working and anyway i can get it to work again?

There are few things you can check…

1. Check the Mute switch
2. Does the sound come from other Apps? If Yes, Go to Settings and check Sounds & Music options
3. Check if the headphone pins are connected properly. Push it. The Stereo headphones have 3 white strips on the headphone jack. If not pushed correctly, only one side will work (like mono sound)
4. Some bad designed cases stop the headphone connector to go inside all the way.
5. Check with a different stereo headphone.
6.blow air in the headphone connector, check if some web or dust blocks anything.
7. If most apps work with or without headphones and only MUSIC app fails, try restoring your iOS that should fix built-in app behavior

  • Why doesn't Cydia work on my iPhone anymore? My friend jail broke my phone and cydia and all the downloaded patches/apps were working fine until I had to turn my phone off. I turned it back on and now nothing I downloaded from cydia works anymore. Should I re install it or what?
