Why does my snapchat camera suck but everyone's elses doesn't?

Okay so first of all I don't use my snapchat, I just use it for the camera I have nobody on it, but I have instagram and I always see people posting pictures that they obviously took with the snapchat camera cause it'll show like the screenshot and everything, and there picture is like high quality and perfect, mines on the other hand comes out blurry and gross. I don't understand? I have the iphone 4s by the way.

Try taking photos in a well lit area, lighting can change everything. Filters can also make a picture look better. I don't know how your taking your pics, but if your hands shake a little its going to blur up the pic.

Sigh, … Your question makes me wish I could go back in time and stop the digital camera, cell phone, and the internet from ever being invented.

It depends more on what kind of phone you have. And also where your taking the picture and light

You're using a phone that just so happens to have the ability to capture an image. All cameras on cellphones suck. You may think your friends snapshots are good, but in reality once you look at them printed or on screen larger than 3", you'll see that they're all extremely poor quality.
Not only do cellphone cameras have poor image quality, since you're using a phone and not a camera to take pictures, you are limited in what you can do exposure wise, and you're limited in type of lighting situations in which you can use the camera. Anything other than full sun and the cameras will not be able to produce an image that will acceptable to you.
As the user, you must be aware of the limitations of your phone's camera. Just realize that you can buy a replacement camera for your phone on eBay for $13! That's right! You're using a $13 camera and are wondering why your pictures suck.
Get yourself a decent point and shoot, read the manual, and your images won't suck as much.
