Why doesn't my aux cable work in my car?
I have a 2011 Toyota Camry LE and I recently bought a Mediabridge aux cable. It was a 3.5mm male to male cord and the first time I plugged it in it worked, music was playing from my iPhone 5. I plugged it in again today and nothing! I was pressing all the buttons and nothing was working. I kept pressing the DISC/AUX button, but nothing was happening. I'm not sure if it's the cable or my car, or maybe it wasn't picking up a signal, but I tried once more again today, and still nothing was playing. I'm returning the cable, but I was wondering if I should have my car checked out, or maybe buy a new cable?
Try the new cable first, since it's easier and cheaper to replace. If that doesn't work, take the car to Toyota.
P.S. Don't do what I did and realize the volume on my phone was all the way down.
The Toyota Mediabridge aux cable or interface works, using the am SAT button
not the disc /aux

I know of people who have experienced this same problem too. Anybody know what happened and how I can fix it? Much appreciated.
