Why is my aux cable not working?
2002 mitsubishi eclipse with Kenwood KDC-MP245. When i play a CD all speakers work fine and it sounds great… BUT. When i plug in my aux cable for my iphone it only plays through one left side speaker. And i tried it on other systems and it plays fine… What's going on?
There's a short in the plug harness. The auxiliary cable has 2 places to contact, one for each speaker. I would take apart the plug and clean it and make sure the connections are not loose. If that doesn't work, replace the plug and check wires to stereo for continuity.
- Why won't my AUX cable work in my car after iOS 6 update? Ever since I updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 6, I have been unable to play music in my car (Kia Soul) with the AUX cable. - I have a problem with my car aux cable? Whenever I plug in my iPhone to my aux cable into my car the sound is all fuzzy and only plays through certain speakers. And the phone has to be held in a certain position for the sound to work so I have to hold it up and keep it still which I obviously can't do when driving. Anyone else had this problem? Is it the phone or the car, I want it sorted - thanks
- I have a 2006 honda accord sedan with a built in aux cable on the factory radio? How do I play music through the radio with the aux cable and my iPhone? The radio also has the cd/aux button.
