Why doesn't my iPhone 3GS connect to the cellular data network?
I just bought a refurbished iPhone 3GS from Gamestop a few weeks ago and have just started using it recently. I can make/ receive calls and texts with no problem, but for some reason my phone will not connect to the 3G network. I have 3G turned on and the symbol shows up in the top corner of my phone, as if it were working normally. I tried updating my phone, but there was no difference.
It might have something to do with your carrier. Your question should have specified what your carrier is.
- Why won't cellular data actually connect? My phones cellular data won't connect to LTE. And I have no idea how to make it work, or how to troubleshoot the problem. I have cellular data, LTE, and data roaming all switched on. But no connection. My phone is the iPhone 5C if that helps. Thanks! Ps: I'm permitted to access internet in my plan, but I can't.
- Why does my iphone use data over night when cellular data is turned off? Every night I turn off cellular data and leave the iPhone on and one day I wake up and check my data manager and see i have already used 25 MB please help!
- When you have Wi-Fi and cellular data on at the same time, does it use cellular data? If I keep my cellular data on and also have my iPhone connected to Wi-Fi, will it use any of my cellular data?
- What is cellular network data? I just got an iPhone through Verizon and when I go into usage there's a thing that says cellular network data and it just keeps going up and up but I don't understand why. I don't use Internet outside of Wi-Fi ever. I don't even know what cellular network data is. Someone explain?
