Why doesn't my iPhone 5s charge?

Just this morning, my iPhone 5s was charging fine. But once I came home from school today, I had to start holding to cable charger in a certain way or else it would not charge. I got out of the shower and now my phone will not charge at all. I now only have one percent, and not matter what way i put the charger, my phone won't charge. I'm not looking for an answer about getting a new charger, I'm looking for a quick fix. I've read about the pocket lint in the phone, but I don't if it is that because it seemed to be the charger.

Nope. If you're using an apple charger, I would be surprised it's not working. If it's a chinese knockoff, use your apple charger.

The same thing happened to me with my charger. You have to get a new one because once your charger stops working then it's done. I bought a new one @ walgreens and it works perfectly. Also take good care of your charger. Make sure you don't fold it up and bend it a lot. Last but not least, don't yank your phone off the charger. I've been doing all of those and that's why my charger stopped working.
