Why doesn't my right headphone doesn't make sound?
I have the iPhone 7 EarPods (not the Bluetooth ones ) They were working just fine until one day I realized that there was no sound coming out of the right side. I already cleaned it but doesn't work. How do I fix this?
It's broken
Buy a new set
Test the headphones with another compatible device. If they still don't work, then you need to buy yourself a new pair of headphones.
Assuming the problem really is with the headphones and not what you have them plugged into, there's probably a broken wire or connection somewhere - most likely inside the plug or inside the headphones.
Unless they're really expensive headphones (or you have the time, skills and tools needed) it's probably not even worth trying to find the fault. Bin them and get a new pair.
- Why doesn't my IPhone make sound? I don't have "do not disturb" on, airplane mode is off, I went into the settings and made it so literally everything should be making noise when anything happens, I don't have any "silent times" set. The only thing I haven't tried for it to make sound is throwing it at a wall.
- Why does only my right headphone on my iPhone? So both of my headphone work when I plug them into my computer or others peoples iPods, but only the right headphone works ony iPhone. Why and how can I fix it?
- When I sing I sound good in my head but on recording it doesn't sound as good? I understand why this is but I want to know if it is because my iPhone recording quality isn't good. If not how do I actually listen to how others hear me sing.
- Somehow, a huge piece of the headphone jack got stuck in the headphone port, and I can't find any I think the headphone type is just a normal iPhone headphone. So ground, audio, mic and some of the plastic, or whatever it is, around it, got stuck in there, and it's not super deep, probably because it's almost the whole headphone jack, but it's still in there. Someone please help! I can't find anything! It's just the headphone jack tip that got stuck for everyone else! It's a laptop.
