Why doesn't my iphone sound record?
My videos on my iphone 4 come out okay, but there's no sound; but there's sound on everything else, even voice recordings.
I'm guessing that you got some water into the speaker or something like that.
I think you should take it to an iPhone repair store or the Apple Store and they will have it fixed up for you.
If you chose going to the Apple Store, they will charge you a small fee (if you don't have Apple Care).
